Patch 4.3 changes for Demonology Warlocks

Demonology Warlocks have seen a couple of changes in Patch 4.3, most of which appear to be side-swipes from the epic Destruction Warlock changes. Impending Doom is now triggered by Soul Fire, meaning that Soul Fire can trigger a reduction in your Demon Form cooldown. Soul Fire has also had a buff to how it scales with Spellpower. Finally, Master Demonologist now grants slightly more bonus damage to your demons and your demon form per Mastery point.

Given Mastery was already our best stat after Hit, this doesn’t change our stat priorities. And whilst the buffs to Soul Fire are nice, they don’t appear to be major enough to warrant using it differently in our rotation. A bug to Incinerate was also fixed, but again, current theorycrafting is that it doesn’t change our rotation.

Patch 4.3 changes for Destruction Warlocks

This patch sees some pretty major changes and buffs to Destruction. Fire and Brimstone sees a straight damage buff for Chaos Bolt and Incinerate of 11%. Soul Fire now scales better with spellpower, Improved Soul Fire lasts longer (which actually means less Soul Fire casts!), and the talent Burning Embers does more damage of the Imp’s Firebolt and – yes – Soul Fire.

The good news is that whilst the effects of those changes are internally very complex, they don’t change our play or gearing style. The only thing that will change our play style is getting 4 pieces of Tier 13, at which point Soulburn comes in just under maintaining Improved Soul Fire on the priority tree.

Patch 4.3 changes for Affliction Warlocks

Not much has changed in ‘flick land with this patch. Soul Fire has had a small buff, and Shadow Bolt has a new graphic, but that’s about it. Our tier 13 set bonuses are fun. The 2-piece simply gives us more fun times with our Doomguard or Infernal, but our 4-piece tier bonus changes our rotation fundementally. When we achieve 4T13, we should use Soulburn with Soul Fire whenever it’s available.

Some people really like holy pallys because they can take the hits when they get beat on when they get aggro from their heals. Survivability. The pally is one of the best classes because it can be speced as one of teh best dpsers with ret, one of the best tanks with prot, and one of the best healers with holy. What do you feel is the best healing class in the game right now in patch 4.3?

Pallies: Plate and Single heals, not good when multiple raid/group members take damage.

Priest: Can heal multiple targets, and great raid/group healers, but have cloth as a down side.

Shaman: Great in both raid/group situations have chain so can take somewhat of a hit.They really did not say to much downsides to them.

Druid: Heal over times, good for keeping the raid topped off, never really much on if they are good in group heroics, or PvP.

Paladins is also one of the best PvP healing class, it’s not close really. As far as PVE goes all classes are pretty good. Before the CoH nerf and WG nerf it was probably Druids and Priests, but now it’s pretty much even if the person knows how to play. A good Druid healer will drop into Bear form and off-tank when he/she gets aggro. Although Shaman has the most mana efficient healer. Ret Pallies are good with Mana too if they have Replenishment.

Some experts think that every Healer is in OneSection the best. It depends on what you want to do. Do you want to solo, but still heal? Do you want to be a heal bot? Are you a raider?

Priest: Combo with Hotys and Direkt Heal make him to a good allround healer. Alround Healer and Undead-CC. Priest is for those who want to just help in raids. It’s not a good idea to try soloing with this class because their attack is now, and they die easy. They do have the most healing power.

Warlord Zon’ozz just needs one tank, focused anger enhances the damage dealt using the boss the software makes no difference who hes hitting, and without adds so no tank swap needed.

Hagara the Stormbinder just need one tank aswell, shes not attacking you whilst the adds spawns so only needs one tank here aswell, same on heroic mode.

Ultraxion requires two tanks because of the fading light debuff, in the event the tank gets targeted everybody in the raid will wipe since he has to leave the twilight realm and cant generate any threat.

Warmaster Blackhorn requires two tanks once you get two adds on they can be kept which puts different debuffs across the tanks, you need to swap adds and in some cases swap about the boss subsequently.

Spine of Deathwing can be performed with just one single tank should the group makes sense enough, even if you wanna play in the safety side available for you two.

Madness of Deathwing, rrt had been a “showbreaker” when folks tried it on PTR and that we only used one tank there, might been changed consequently I just do not know anything concerning this fight as a general rule now.

Shaman and Druids acquire shapeshift forms ([Ghost Wolf] for shaman and [Travel Form] for druids) that increase their movement speed (not as much as a mount, but it is trainable at an earlier level), while Hunters get aspectsto boost their own movement speed and that of their party. Rogues and druids (in [Cat Form]) have an ability to temporarily increase movement speed. Here are the skills and abilities that provide some classes with a bit of a faster mount movement speed, either passively or by the activation of an ability.

Through items and enchants
There are five other methods for increasing your mounted speed, with no effects beyond level 70:

[Enchant Gloves - Riding Skill]: +2% (stacking), world drop Enchanting recipe
[Mithril Spurs]: +4% (stacking), world drop Blacksmithing plans
[Riding Crop]: +10% (non-stacking), Leatherworking pattern sold in Old Hillsbrad Foothills.
[Skybreaker Whip]: +10% (non-stacking), quest reward from 70 Dragonmaw Race: Captain Skyshatter, must be Honored withNetherwing.

These last two items effectively increase a mount’s speed by 10%. However, they do not stack with the previously mentioned methods, so they are approximately a 1% improvement over using the above 3 items combined. It should be also noted that for players of WotLK the Riding Crop is only usable for two levels 69 and 70, and the Skybreaker Whip only for one level 70.

All speed improvement items work on both normal and flying mounts. Characters higher than level 70 will not benefit from mount speed improvement items and enchants. With Cataclysm, the following are no longer available: [Carrot on a Stick]: +3% (stacking), reward from the Gahz’rilla quest in Zul’Farrak.
